Not to Miss: Goldsmiths' Fair 2021

Posted on

Taking place in the glorious setting of Goldsmiths' Hall, pop there to see independent makers of handmade jewellery and silversmithing.  Each maker has been hand selected to exhibit.

On display is a range of fine, semi-precious and precious jewellery to suit all budgets and styles from the traditional to the contemporary. You can buy pieces off the stand or commission a piece of jewellery for a special birthday or celebration.

Alongside the fair, the Goldsmiths' Company Curatorial Department have curated an exhibition entitled 'A World of Invention' - 30 eye popping art jewellery rings chosen from the Goldsmiths' Collection as pioneering for their time from 1961 to the present day. The exhibition is included in the price of your fair entry ticket. For further information about the exhibition, visit: www.goldsmithfair.co.uk

Goldsmith Fair takes place over a two week period with a different set of makers exhibiting in the first week from the second. Now in its second week, the fair is open for four more days from 7th - 10th October. Opening times are:

Thursday - Saturday: 10.30 am to 6.00 pm

Sunday: 10.30 am to 3.30 pm

Timed tickets can be purchased in advance by visiting: www.goldsmithsfair.co.uk.  You can also buy a copy of the fair catalogue, worth purchasing as it provides you with a list of all participating makers from weeks one and two.

I plan to visit the fair on Friday.  Watch this space for my highlights!
